PHILIPS B7X43A

I received the vintage radio, Philips B7X43A Stereo Reverbeo, this morning. My first impression was its neat and sturdy packaging. It is unbelievably well-packed to withstand unforeseen handling during cargo transportation from airports to airports and countries to countries. I could not wait to open it and found no damage at all.  Thanks to Albert of the Vintage Radio Support team for preparing me for the advanced video instruction clip on operating the radio I built in my childhood. With such helpful information, operating such a nostalgic device becomes somewhat of a plug-and-play procedure.  After checking the operating voltage, I plugged it into a 220VAC source and powered it on by pressing the “piano-key” band switch hard. The hissing sound unhurriedly got louder and louder, but it disappeared after I tuned to an FM channel. The voice of a DJ appeared, and it was so clear that I could not challenge it.   I listened to the stereo broadcast for half a day, then I decided to try the Bluetooth Amplifier Albert recommended. The unique “reverbeo” feature perfects the radio's sound quality. It is a superb system after all. I was so happy that I had made a wise purchase of the vintage radio from the Vintage Radio Shop.  (Leo Cheung. Hong Kong)
