TELEFUNKEN made some Gavotte models every year during 50´s. The Gavotte 55 was the first one. it was made in 1955 and it has a perfect construction, 100% reliable and very very good sound. This is because the Gavotte 55 is one of my favourite Gavotte radios.

The wood is in very good condition for its age and its wood colour is very nice.

The radio has been carefully overhauled and restored by a professional technician. All critical components that were worn or at risk of failure have been replaced, while remaining true to the original design. Thanks to this meticulous restoration process, the radio functions perfectly, just as it did in 1955, and is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
