TELEFUNKEN, CONCERTO 9 model made in Germany in 1959.

Note that Telefunken Concerto 9 is the same of Telefunken Concertino 9. Both of them use the same speakers, same chassis, same buttons, same glass...but the Concerto case was designed like an avant-garde model.

This is the evolution of Telefunken's prestigious and popular Concertino (or Concerto) model which was first produced in 1955 and which in 1959 presented, as you can see in the photographs, a completely renewed and improved design. The '59 model stands out not only for its avant-garde appearance but also because it included a fourth speaker and sound selectors for BASS, ORCHESTER, JAZZ and SOLO which were intended to improve the quality of previous models.

The radio is in very good condition for its age and I don´t see any visible damage on the wood.

It has been 100% revised and tested. All capacitors, tubes and resistors in bad condition were replaced. All mechanical problems were fixed and AM-FM filters adjusted. Dial bulbs replaced, dial cord revised, ferrit antenne cord replaced, variable resistors cleaned,...everything has been checked. Now, the radio radio works like new.

It has got an internal voltage regulator that goes from 110V to 220V so the radio is ready to plug and play in every country
