SABA, MEERSBURG W5-3D model from 1954.

In my personal opinion, this is the most advisable SABA radio. One of the most solid and reliable radios available with the best SABA sound quality. Its design and construction is very strong. A radio built for eternal life.

We coud say that this SABA is like a SABA FREIBURG but without the automatic tunner (motor tunning), so you can have a perfect SABA with an incredibible sound but without sensitive and delicate elements that could cause problems in the future. This radio is a real indestructible German tank.

The combination of the huge front loudspeaker and the use of the EL12 amplifier tube results in an extraordinary sound. A warm and deep sound with a powerful and clear bass.

It has been 100% revised and tested. All capacitors, tubes and resistors in bad condition were replaced. All mechanical problems were fixed and AM-FM filters adjusted. Dial bulbs replaced, dial cord revised, ferrit antenne cord replaced, variable resistors cleaned,...everything has been checked. Now, the radio radio works like new.

The case is in mint condition: no marks, no scratches, nothing. Absolutely perfect.

It works in AM, FM, SHORT WAVE and LONG WAVE.

It has got an internal voltage regulator that goes from 110V to 220V so the radio is ready to plug and play in every country

This radio has a rear turntable input, which can now be used to connect one of the Bluetooth Amplifiers we have advertised in our shop.
