GRUNDIG, 5050W-3D model made in Germany between 1954-1956

This is Grundig's largest radio. An incredible music machine that is almost impossible to find again.

It has an engine or motor to store and later search for your favourite stations. That is, you can store a station, as if it were a memory, and when you activate the motor, the radio retrieves the frequency you saved. It's something incredible. It's wonderful.

It is one of the most expensive radios of the 50's and very few people could afford such a radio. This is one of the best radios of the 50's and an amazing technological milestone.

The radio was equipped with all-round speakers .... A huge speaker for a powerful bass, medium-sized speakers for the sides to reproduce the mid-tones. And two tweeters for the high tones.

It has been 100% revised and tested. All capacitors, tubes and resistors in bad condition were replaced. All mechanical problems were fixed and AM-FM filters adjusted. Dial bulbs replaced, dial cord revised, variable resistors cleaned,...everything has been checked. Now, the radio radio works like new.

The case is in mint condition: no marks, no scratches, nothing. Absolutely perfect.

It works in FM and AM (Short, Medium and Long wave)

It has got an internal voltage regulator that goes from 110V to 220V so the radio is ready to plug and play in every country
