GRUNDIG, 5050W model made in Germany in 1954.

This is the prestigious Grundig 5050W radio, one of the most important Grundig models and possibly the best Grundig radio of all time. This is no exaggeration, it is one of the largest radios in existence and is equipped with 4 speakers (double concentric speakers) and 10 valves with two EL84 amplifier valves.

It is the only tube radio that uses two double concentric loudspeakers. These are two large speakers that provide a deep and warm bass but each of these speakers includes a tweeter speaker inside to reproduce the more subtle tones. It is one of the best designs I have seen.

It is in MINT condition: no marks, no scratches, nothing !

It has been 100% revised and tested. All capacitors, tubes and resistors in bad condition were replaced. All mechanical problems were fixed and AM-FM filters adjusted. Dial bulbs replaced, dial cord revised, variable resistors cleaned,...everything has been checked. Now, the radio radio works like new.

It works in FM and AM (MEDIUM WAVE, LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE)

It has got an internal voltage regulator that goes from 110V to 220V so the radio is ready to plug and play in every country

This radio has a rear turntable input, which can now be used to connect one of the Bluetooth Amplifiers we have advertised in our shop.
