The Grundig 4010 is a magnificent example of early 1950's German engineering. Manufactured in 1952-53, this tube radio stands out for its elegant design and exceptional sound quality, characteristics that made it a status symbol in Central European homes of the time.

Its cabinet, with fine marquetry lines and curved finishes, exudes a sophistication difficult to find in later models.

It is one of the high-end radios that used the EL12 amplifier valve, which gives it that deep, warm bass that characterizes them.

The radio has been carefully overhauled and restored by a professional technician. All critical components that showed wear or risk of failure have been replaced, while maintaining total fidelity to the original design.
