## Before you buy

<details>

<summary>01Can I reserve a radio before I'm ready to buy?</summary>

Yes. Contact us and we will work something out. You can reserve a radio with a partial payment and settle the rest before it ships. We have held pieces for collectors waiting on a renovation, a birthday, or the right room. We will not hold a radio indefinitely, but we will not sell it out from under you without a heads-up.

</details>

<details>

<summary>02Is there a model or era you don't have, but might find?</summary>

Write and describe what you are after. We have contacts at estates, auctions, and other restorers across Spain and Germany. We cannot promise, but we keep our eyes open and actively look for pieces buyers have asked about.

</details>

<details>

<summary>03Do you sell radios that aren't on the site?</summary>

Yes, occasionally. Some pieces are sold to previous customers before they're listed, and a few go straight from the bench to a collector who wrote in first. If you're hunting something specific, the best move is to email and get on the list.

</details>

<details>

<summary>04How are the radios priced?</summary>

By three things: the original model's collectability, the extent of the restoration, and the cosmetic condition. A TELEFUNKEN CONCERTINO at €445 is priced at what we consider fair for a fully restored, warranted radio, not at what similar pieces sell for unrestored at auction.

</details>

<details>

<summary>05What does 'fully restored' mean?</summary>

It means the radio has been through our full bench process: chassis cleaned, all paper and electrolytic capacitors replaced, resistors checked, alignment done (where applicable), every tube tested under load, dial lamps replaced, and a 30-minute warm soak before sign-off. The cabinet is cleaned and touched up.

</details>

<details>

<summary>06Can I buy for someone else as a gift?</summary>

Absolutely. We can ship to a different address, leave the invoice out of the box, and include a hand-written note from you. Just let us know what to write in the message field at checkout. Several of our regular customers buy for partners or children.

</details>

<details>

<summary>07I'm not technical. Will I be able to use the radio?</summary>

Yes. Every radio we sell is set up to plug into a standard European outlet (or with an adapter) and tune. You do not need to understand tubes to enjoy the radio. The FAQ below covers daily use; the warranty covers the rest.

</details>

<details>

<summary>08Can I visit the workshop to see a radio in person?</summary>

By appointment, yes. Write at least two weeks ahead. If you are in the region or would like to make a trip of it, we will be happy to arrange a visit.
